Old Town Cottage Unit 13

Enjoyed our stay in your unit. One complaint about your front office staff. I was told that you only supply one roll of toilet paper per unit. That is was my responsibility to supply the other roll. I was told that you were not responsible for the other roll as this was the same as you having to stock our house. Poor choice of words on her part since this would be the first time that I have had to supply my own toilet paper. Also room was short of wash cloths.Only two for the five of us. Claimed you had a towel shortage. We were given two more and two hand towels.l won't knock your rating down because of your employees remarks. It was a nice place and will come back.

This was one of the best places we have stayed at in Port Aransas! The location is perfect, the size of the condo was perfect, and having the golf cart with 3 kids made it that much better when going and coming back from the beach....! The pool was nice the first day, but was tented green the last 3 days we stayed. The only other thing I would change is to have a combination lock at the parking entrance to the unit. We had to drop someone off at front side to go and unlock door for us to come in where the parking is located. Overall, we plan on coming back to this location, and hopefully soon! Highly recommend!

Our first time in Port A and I felt like we landed in the perfect spot! The cottage was setup very nicely with high quality furniture and comfortable beds! We had everything we needed, the bbq pits are top notch!! Location was perfect with the iga right down the st and surrounded by restaurants and a short golf cart trip to the beach! The pool is nice and icing on top was the ice maker available to fill our coolers! Check in could have been a little more informative to get started but all things considered this place is a 5 star in my book. We'll be back for sure!

You will not be disappointed in this property! The golf cart that came with our cottage was an added perk for us running around the island. The customer service is great. The huge ice machine by the pool was a life saver.

The cottages are cute but not quite 5 star rating. The property attracts mostly families with children which works best for us. Very prompt response from management for some minor inquiries such as a back door light bulb that needed replaced. The space seemed pretty clean but a keen eye to some finer details could raise you to a five star review. For example: there was a dead cock roach in the living room, cob webs under the coffee table, the kitchen cabinets had old ketchup splattered and stuck on the shelves and the pots and pans could use an upgrade. They are so scratched up and it’s impossible to make eggs in them. There was also a lot of dust and what looked like soda that spilled on the wall behind one of the chairs. It’s probably in need of a deep spring cleaning. The pool water and area was clean. The grounds upkeep was good. There is just some deferred maintenance inside the cottages that a little paint touch up could easily improve. Some of the dresser drawers were lose and wonky. The property is very family friendly and management does its best to buffer you from the bar next door. Overall we had a nice stay. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable - however the sheets don’t properly fit the master bed and slide off as you sleep.
