Only rarely do you find a vacation spot that delivers both a great location and a great price. You’ve found just such a destination in Apache Village Cabinette 13. From the moment you drive into Apache Village, you’ll fall in love with the plethora of towering ponderosa pines, the well-kept grounds and the rustic charm of the individual cabins.

Apache Village Cabinette 13 is a cozy hideaway for two with a location that puts you near everything you want to do in this magnificent mountain area. You can pull up right beside your cabinette to park. On your way into the cabin, you’ll cross the covered porch where you’ll spend many a pleasant morning enjoying coffee in the crisp, pine-scented mountain air as you listen to the sounds of birds singing in the treetops.

Your cabin is a true historic treasure, built by a master craftsman in the post-war 1940s. The owners have taken great care to maintain the original warmth and charm that the builder brought to the cabin while adding certain modern conveniences through the years to make Apache Village Cabinette 13 comfortable for today’s guests.

The cabinette is essentially a one-room studio with adjoining bathroom. Careful planning has gone into the design, so all your needs can be met in the limited space.

Tucked away in a corner you’ll find a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Walk over to the supermarket and pick up beverages and sandwich fixings to store in the refrigerator. You’ll probably want to dine out at some of the excellent and varied restaurants of Ruidoso. If you have leftovers, you can bring them back to Apache Village Cabinette 13 to enjoy the next day. A quick warm up in the microwave and you’ll be all set. There’s also a picnic table located on the Apache Village grounds where you are welcome to dine alfresco in the beautiful mountain surroundings.

There’s so much to do in and around Ruidoso, you’ll probably be out and about on most days hiking in Lincoln National Forest, trying out the zip-line at the Ruidoso Winter Park or fishing in the Ruidoso River, Lake Alto or Grindstone Lake. You have so many possibilities. You can even walk from your cabin down to an art gallery, one of many you’ll find in this strong arts community.

When you return to Apache Village Cabinette 13 for the night, you’ll be happy to slip into your comfortable queen-size bed. There’s a TV with cable that’s perfectly situated for late-night viewing. You also have a window air-conditioner to keep the temperature just right on warm nights.

When you awaken in the morning, you can step into the bathroom for a warm shower. There are plenty of towels to use during your stay. Before you know it, you’ll be out on the porch enjoying your first cup of morning joe and planning all the fun you’ll have in the new day.
