Upon entering this charming Galveston Vacation Condo, guests will appreciate the modern decor, ceramic tile throughout and are able to enjoy the spacious living area, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, central heat and AC, ceiling fans in the living area and bedrooms.
The kitchen offers matching black appliances, microwave, standard drip coffee pot, coffee grinder, toaster, a gas stovetop, updated countertops, and kitchens are fully stocked with serving and cooking dishes to prepare and serve any meal.
All units also offer the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer in the unit.
THE ANCHOR BY PLEASURE PIER
The Anchor is less than a mile North on 25th Street from the Pleasure Pier, the Seawall and the beach, and less than a mile south of the Port of Galveston Cruise Terminal and the historic Strand shopping district. University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is only a mile and a half away. Also within walking distance is The Bryan Museum, Moody Mansion, Sunflower Bakery & Cafe, Mosquito Cafe, Old Moon Deli, Shykatz Cafe, Gypsy Joynt, BLVD Seafood, The Spot, Mama Teresa's Flying Pizza, Black Pearl Oyster Bar, Shrimp N' Stuff and Murdoch's. The Anchor community courtyard offers three charcoal grills for guest use. All units offer the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer in the unit.

This home is pet-friendly. 2 pets are allowed. Weight limit of 25 pounds. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

I don’t know if I would tell any one yet until I knew for sure it had been treated and was roach free. As a chef I was disgusted with it and did not want to cook in the kitchen because of it.

Hello, I had sent a message to the host already on the 2nd day of our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The only concern I had was the fact that there were people on the 2nd floor making a lot of noise, including thumping and stomping after 12 am. This was the only thing that made our stay very uncomfortable due to the time it was, and us having trouble sleeping. Thank you!

Good morning noted as satisfactory because had issues with roaches and when you are coming out of town for a vacation that\'s the last thing you want to deal with and see, there was a hole located in the wall in the living room area above the light switch and was informed that a discount was available because we had 2 that were senior citizens and no one mention that information, just as a common courtesy. But the rooms itself was nice.

We had a great stay! It was clean and ready for us upon arrival and the AC was set to a nice temp to help cool us off from being in the car all day, also loved all of the ceiling fans to keep it cool. The location was easy to find and we loved the layout of the unit. The location is only a few blocks from the pier and centrally located for pretty much everything we wanted to do. The #7 was a ground floor unit which was very helpful for us as my mom who traveled with us has a bad hip and those stairs would have been a struggle for her everyday. One recommendation is that they did not have a clock in the entire unit except for on the stove. I know everyone has phones in today\'s world but a clock in the living room or hallway would have been nice to make sure everyone was on schedule. Also another recommendation would be to add a large/full length mirror somewhere in the unit. Traveling with several girls we were struggling to share the mirror in the bathrooms and there is not enough room to get a full length view for deciding on outfits.
