We really enjoyed our stay and the place was great. My only complaint is the late checkin time and early checkout time. We called about early checkin and late checkout and were told to call 3 days ahead and there shouldn’t be any issue. When I called they said it would be an additional $150 each for an additional $300.00 for a two hour early and late check in/out. After an additional call I was offered a one hour later check out. I would suggest adding that fee notice to the listing. I called two times and was never told about the additional fee. This was my first time an Airbnb host has not accommodated a reasonable request. I could understand if this was the middle of their busy season but it was not. I may have looked at other options knowing that there was a fee. I sent a note to the owner before committing because the early check out time of 10:00. They had the opportunity to advise of the fee but did not. I was told there shouldn’t be any issue.

The property had everything we needed to relax and enjoy Deep Creek. It had enough space for our party to be together but also have some time apart to play games or rest. They thought of everything including a coffee pot or Keurig depending on taste, wine fridge, various gaming consoles for the kids, a great hot tub with views, a beautiful outdoor porch, and even cut wood for the fire pit. We even enjoyed the slight bear themed decor which our kids loved finding each small statue/artwork in each room. It was not overdone, but made the high-end cabin feel like home. The updated bathrooms and family-friendly kitchen dining and appliances were amazing and clean - we cannot wait to stay again.
