Steps cut into the hillside lead you through a terraced garden hardscaped with river stones. Breathtaking -- and not the last of the patios at Harmony House! Directly off the primary suite is a small, sun-soaked stone patio with a cozy table for two, flanked by high stone privacy walls. What a lovely spot to end each day, stargazing over that final glass of wine.

Although the outside of Harmony House is dazzling, the interior equals it for interest and beauty. Wood floors, open-beam ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, and southwestern crafts evoke the original look of the house, while state-of-the-art flat-screen TVs, beautiful lighting, and luxe furnishings update the decor perfectly.

Choose from two sitting rooms in which to spend those precious hours of downtime: the main living area, with its huge fireplace, comfy sofa, and overstuffed reading chairs; or the adjacent study, a smaller and quieter area with more relaxing seating amid lovely artwork. Set the coffee pot to brew just as you wake up; warm leftovers and takeout in the microwave; toss everything into the dishwasher and head out the door!

There are two places to dine indoors: the formal dining room, with a fine wooden table for 6 and double glass doors opening onto a patio; and a smaller round table for 4 just off the living room. This smaller table also makes a great place to play cards, work a jigsaw puzzle, or surf the web on your laptop. Or, if your party includes children, make this the kids' table and let the grown-ups dine in splendor below the modern chandelier in the dining room.

When it's time to head to bed, everyone will be delighted with the accommodations at Harmony House. The primary suite contains a king-sized bed, and the other two bedrooms each have two twin beds, making for greater flexibility when friends and mixed groups are traveling together.
