Apache Village 9
Where you'll be
Description
Apache Village 9 is a studio cabinette that was solidly built in the post-war 1940s. Constructed by an experienced builder, the cabin features knotty pine walls and ceiling that give the structure a cozy mountain cabin vibe. Though the cabin has all the charm of the 1940s era, it has been updated through the years with conveniences such as a flat-screen TV with cable and air-conditioning.
You’ll love the cabin’s solitude - tucked away amid other cabinettes in the Apache Village. One of the highlights of Apache Village 9 is the covered front porch where you can sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee while you listen to the sounds of mountain birds in the trees and breathe in the crisp, pine-scented air.
Inside, you have a microwave oven, coffeemaker and mini refrigerator. Dine out at some of the excellent local restaurants and save your leftovers for the next day. The mini refrigerator is perfect for storing sodas and the makings for sandwiches. Pack a lunch and go out to explore the many trails in the mountains around Ruidoso. There’s also a picnic table right on the Apache Village property where you can spread out your feast and enjoy the mountain air and scenery. You have so many entertainment opportunities near Apache Village 9.
Make the short drive into midtown Ruidoso to explore. There’s great fishing, golf and horseback riding available. Not far away you’ll find a casino, horse racing and Ruidoso Winter Park with a zip-line. You’ll never run out of fun things to do!
When you’re ready to return to Apache Village 9 for the night, you have a comfortable queen-size bed, window air-conditioner and ceiling fan to ensure a restful night’s sleep. When you awaken, there’s a large picture window giving you a lovely view of the well-maintained property.
The Apache Village 9 bathroom includes a walk-in shower and plenty of fluffy towels to use during your stay.
However you choose to spend your days, you’ll love returning each evening to this cozy, peaceful cabin that feels far from the press of humanity. You’ll also rest easy knowing your lodgings deliver the full vacation experience without the high price you pay in many locations. You’ll have money left over to ski, make a day trip to Santa Fe or maybe pick up a beautiful art piece to take home as a souvenir.

+ I liked that it was close to town. close to the restaurants. - We arrived late, so it was very very dark. We were not told to pick up the packet outside of a different office which was much further than expected. Called the the numbers that were provided in the email. No answer or response to voicemails left. The room was cold.

+ Cleanliness, location and the space was adequate - The driveway and parking were badly damaged and need repairs . The air conditioner was not sufficient enough to cool the cabin , not even with the ceiling fan on.

The cabin was just right for two people. There really isnt a place to chill in the cabin except the bed. The cabin is not very sound proof. Was able to hear the next door neighbors clearly. Overall, very close to trails, restaurants, supermarkets, and the ski resort I believe. A good place to stay for one night, maybe two.
