Walk down the stairs and take a seat on the covered ground-floor deck to cool off in the shade while the kids splash about in the pool. We enjoyed our year-end week in this property. Of course it didn\'t hurt that weather was cooperating, but we felt the house met exactly our needs for three couples, two grown up siblings and two dogs. The layout encouraged us to hang together, but allowed us to sleep on our own. Location is very good, with an easy access path to the beach, which has plenty to walk on. The house also allows easy drives to the town, or some other attractions in the area. The heated pool was excellent for relaxing dip-ins this time of the year. We had couple of small issues, which the owner himself attended very promptly. Would definitely go here again with this kind of group!

Wonderful setting. Near beach and nice pool surrounded by landscape that gave a sense of privacy. Kitchen had everything needed for meal preps. Only problem was sugar ants, but Black Flag under sink took care of most of them. We had a great time!

Our group of 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at Summer Wind. A few things we absolutely loved about the house: 1) the close proximity to the beach (less than 1 minute), 2) the house was very well stocked with supplies needed for cooking, 3) the 2nd floor deck provided a great view of the ocean, 4) the addition of the smart TV in the master bedroom. As much as we loved the house, there were a few things we didn\'t like. We were unable to enjoy the pool area due to the amount of mosquitos and ants in the area. The only bad thing we can say about the actual interior of the house is the doors for the bedrooms and bathrooms. They are shutter style doors that are open in the center like shutters. You can hear everything on both sides of the doors. If members of your group like to get up for their 5am coffee while others like to sleep in, you may have some problems. Overall the property was clean, matched the photos provided exactly, and provided a great vacation for our group.

We stayed here in mid-October for my mother\'s 60th birthday and it was wonderful! I am extremely particular about cleanliness and the property was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We had a party of five adults and a small dog; there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beds were very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. A nice touch was that clean linens (towels, washcloth etc) were folded and placed out on the beds for our arrival. There was an ample supply of towels, dishcloths, etc, and a full complement of dishes and flatware, which was a nice change from the usual vacation-house hodgepodge. Nice new appliances and plenty of space in the kitchen for our family of cooks.
