On the 6th floor of an elevator building, Carlos Pointe 611 is a 2-bedroom corner unit. That means the screened-in balcony is especially expansive, with views of the beach, the gulf, and Lovers Key State Park just beyond. The balcony has a table and chairs so that you can dine outdoors. The salty sea air makes everything taste better, and if you time your meal to coincide with the sunset, you can expect a spectacular show. Covered by a roof, the balcony also provides a shady escape from the heat of high noon. Grab a cool drink and settle in to watch dolphins and manatees frolic in the gulf.
Because it opens onto the balcony, the living room enjoys the same spectacular view. It also offers tropical-inspired furnishings, including an inviting sofa that opens into a queen-size bed, enabling 6 guests to stay in the unit. After a day spent collecting shells on the beach, parasailing in the gulf, or biking among the mangroves of Lovers Key, you can take it easy and settle in for movie night—there’s room for everyone to kick back—or post pictures of your day’s adventures on Instagram or Facebook courtesy of our free WiFi.
Visiting a different restaurant every night might be on your vacation agenda, but the gorgeous, recently remodeled kitchen could change your mind. With cherrywood cabinets, gleaming granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and of course that spectacular view, the kitchen is a delightful place to spend time. Not only is it lovely, but it’s fully functional too, equipped with just about every appliance, pot, pan, and utensil you could need to cook up a storm. There’s plenty of tableware too, and the adjacent dining table seats 6 in style and comfort.
The bedrooms are as thoughtfully furnished as the rest of Carlos Pointe 611, with welcoming beds—a king in the primary bedroom and 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom—TVs, ample storage, and windows to let in the fresh breeze and brilliant sunshine. The primary bedroom has sliding glass doors that open onto the balcony, so you can linger outside and admiring the moonlight over the gulf without disturbing the sleepers in the other room.
The primary bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, and the 2nd bathroom is opposite the 2nd bedroom. Having a bathroom for each bedroom will certainly make mornings much less hectic—no waiting on line to take a shower in the morning! Fresh towels and bedding will be waiting for you, and for extra convenience, Carlos Pointe 611 has its own washer and dryer. Now you can run a load of laundry while canoeing the park’s estuaries or enjoying a casino cruise.
You’ll want to block out some time to take advantage of the complex’s heated swimming pool and to stretch out on a poolside chaise afterward, reveling in the rustling palm trees overhead. Carlos Pointe has an outdoor barbecue as well—perfect for grilling up any trout or snapper you reel in, whether from surf fishing or from casting your line off the Big Carlos Pass Bridge, a popular spot with anglers that’s practically around the corner.

In general, this was a great condo, there were 5 of us and plenty of room! Says it can handle 6, but you wouldn\'t have enough room for 6 people to sit in the living room, so may want to add a love seat or another chair, we squeezed 3 people to sit on the couch and we\'re all little people, but it\'s really only comfortable with 2. They supply the towels, but it\'s not nearly enough! You get 6 bath towels and that\'s it! So if you\'ve got 6 people...and most women/girls use 2 towels each (1 body/1 hair) it\'s not even close to enough. I asked if we could please have more and was told no, you get 6. And there was only 1 kitchen towel. The towel situation was probably my most unacceptable issue with this rental, it was ridiculous honestly. Prior to going, I couldn\'t find anything about whether the unit had any sort of cable, satellite, or streaming TV services anywhere so I sent a message asking and was told they didn\'t see anything indicating there was - thought that was a weird answer. Well it did have DirecTV, however, there were no instructions on how to use it and it wasn\'t working at first (someone had to come and get it straightened out), but you could only watch it in the living room and master bedroom - there\'s a TV in the spare room, but it wouldn\'t work in there. There is a washer and dryer in the unit - something else I had to message and get clarification on. The washer has seen better days, there was an instruction sheet on tricks to get it to work right and then if those didn\'t work, unplug it and wait and try again, which we ultimately had to do. There looked to be mold in the door of the washer - it\'s probably time for them to invest in a new machine! It was advertised as "steps away from the beach\"" - in reality
