Perhaps the best way to revel in the glorious view, the fresh breezes, and the chirping of hummingbirds during the day and crickets at night, however, is while luxuriating in the deck’s hot tub. Life doesn’t get much better than this!
Casa Bien’s great room is furnished in classic Spanish Colonial style. The button-tufted leather armchairs and the plush sofa are perfectly positioned for kicking back and watching a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable. If you can’t find anything that everyone can agree on, select a movie from the library of discs and pop it into the DVD player. The gas fireplace will make this space especially welcoming on winter evenings. Open one of the games stored on the bookcase, gather around the coffee table or the dining table, and make the most of your family time together. For another entertainment option, head to the garage, where you’ll find a Stiga ping-pong table.
The dining table, whose top features an elegant inlaid motif, can seat up to 8 people; the well-cushioned chairs will encourage you to linger long after you’ve finished dessert and coffee. The open, roomy kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, and a kitchen island with 2 stools where friends can help with meal prep.
A good night’s sleep is key to a successful vacation. Casa Bien’s luxe bedrooms ensure that everyone will catch up on their z’s and wake up refreshed. Each of the 3 bedrooms includes a king-size bed and a TV, making the home as well suited for several couples vacationing together as it is for a family. One of the bedrooms includes French doors that open onto the rear deck, so you and your sweetheart can slip outside for a moonlit nightcap without waking the others. Be sure to bring your reel and rod if you’re visiting in summer, however, and your skis in winter. Casa Bien is close to numerous outdoor attractions. Only 10 minutes away is Alto Lake and Recreation Area, where you can fish in the stocked lake and explore the surrounding trails on foot, horseback, or mountain bike. Just as close is Ruidoso Winter Park, where you can snow tube in winter and soar on a zip line year-round. Ski Apache, with a peak of more than 12,000 feet, is only 35 minutes away. If you need a day to recuperate from strenuous exercise, you can drive to the galleries and shops of Sudderth Drive in 15 minutes.

We really enjoyed this house! It is probably one of our top ones we have been to. Very spacious and clean! The view of the stars at night are absolutely beautiful. This is one we will definitely try to rebook in the future!

We arrived just as the snow began to fall for a heavy winter snow. It made for beautiful winter wonderland views. Sitting in the hot tub warm and snug with snow falling looking out over the mountains was a wonderful experience.
