What makes Take It Easy such a special cabin? It has three en-suite bedrooms, for starters, and can sleep 12 people in all. Its amenities include an outdoor hot tub, a home theater and a pool table. Its two wrap-around decks offer panoramic views of the woodlands, yet the cabin is just a five-minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Perhaps most striking, with two full kitchens and dining areas, Take It Easy is especially well suited for two families vacationing together.

The great room makes up most of Take It Easy’s main floor. And what a great room it is, with a towering cathedral ceiling, lustrous wood-planked walls and floor and large windows to let in plenty of sunshine. The two roll-arm sofas by the fireplace are sure to be popular spots for relaxing with an après-ski drink in winter or for watching TV after a day spent at Dollywood.

The great room also encompasses the main dining area. Six guests can sit at the dining table, and four more can belly up to the breakfast bar. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the main kitchen. Open and roomy, it is equipped with just about every appliance, gadget, pot and pan you could possibly need.

Downstairs is the second kitchen, part of the game room. In addition to a full-size pool table and a foosball table, the game room also includes a dining area and a large sitting area with its own flat-screen TV. This setup provides maximum versatility. The whole gang can hang out together, or if you’re vacationing with another family, you can each enjoy private meals and quiet time on your own. It really is the best of all worlds!

Also downstairs is the home theater. There are enough cinema-style seats for everyone to kick back and enjoy a movie together, with surround sound to enhance the experience. If you get thirsty or need more popcorn, you can help yourself in the second kitchen downstairs.

Each of Take It Easy’s three bedrooms includes a king-size bed, a TV and its own full bathroom. The loft bedroom has bunk beds as well as a king-size bed. You might want to have all the kids in your group commandeer this space, they’ll feel as if they’re on a camping adventure! One of the sofas in the great room opens into a bed for two, as does a couch in the game room—after all, the more the merrier!

With two huge wrap-around decks, Take It Easy’s outdoor spaces are as accommodating as its interior. Savor your morning coffee outside on a rocker as wrens and warblers greet the day. Enjoy appetizers and drinks as the sun sets or listen to the serenading owls beneath the star-studded sky before turning in for the night. Perhaps best of all, luxuriate among the steamy, massaging waters of the hot tub after a day of hiking, biking or horseback riding.

As you relax with friends on the deck while the mountain breeze rustles through the trees, you might find it hard to believe that Take It Easy is just five minutes from the attraction-packed Pigeon Forge Parkway, but it is! This means you can get to everything from Dollywood to the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster to dinner theaters in a flash. The cabin is also less than a half-hour from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, and Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area.

When you stay at Take It Easy, you can enjoy your vacation your way. Explore the great outdoors one day, laze among the cabin’s luxuries the next, take in a show or do some shopping the day after. However you spend your time, you’re sure to make memories that last a lifetime. So don’t miss out: Book your stay today!

The cabin is rustic and cool. The main issue is the number of times and amount of time we spent dealing with issues. The alarm went off spontaneously, which we discovered was because of a low battery, after maintenance came. And after the police came. This happened on a morning when the majority of our party was sleeping. The fireplace did not work, lightbulbs were burnt out, and the theater was not wired correctly. Each of these issues required maintenance to come out. It was chilly, especially at night, during our stay. The fireplace would have been nice to use. The overall cabin was nice. I would stay here again IF the owner would replace the fireplace.

Needs better parking. Going straight up hill was terrible. You almost needs 4 wheel drive for the drive way. The mattress on the bed on the main floor needs replaced

The cabin space is nice, bathrooms were nice with good water pressure & we never ran out of hot water. We were unable to use the movie theater during our stay, two of the DVD players remotes were missing & someone had messed with the cables & had them a mess. Which was extremely disappointing. The cabin could use some attention with cleaning dusty spiderwebs everywhere & the light fixtures. Porches could use some attention as well. The pool table is always a hit with our crew & it worked well. Hot tub was also nice. Driveways a little tricky, glad we only had one vehicle to maneuver in & out. Cabin is in a good location & is close to everything.
