It’s a solar powered house and the electrical current running to the kitchen appliances isn’t consistent which can cause you to burn your meals if you aren’t paying attention to your cooking. Bring extra sleeping pillows if you are used to sleeping with more than one.

There were so many great things about this cabin. Wi-Fi, the excellent condition of the cabin, the king size bed in the main bedroom, the showers, so many things. There were a few things that were aggravating but we got through it, 1) some of the tvs were not good, the tv in the dining room and the bedrooms were local channels ONLY. The tv in the main bedroom was frozen picture sound was playing but no picture. Thankfully we were able to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube on the living room tv. Although every time you wanted to switch between the apps you had to turn the tv off and on again. It was aggravating but we got through it. Another aggravating thing was; had a bad thunderstorm Thursday (July 20th) and the cabin runs off of solar panels, the power went out for almost 3 hours which meant no Wi-Fi for our autistic son for 3 hrs. The power went out again for like 30 mins the day after when some more rain rolled in. So long story short if you get hard rain/bad storm the power will go out. If you can deal with it. Another thing that was not bad but giving you a tip: there are no games or video game consoles in the cabin. Besides watching tv that is the only thing to do in there. So if your kids don’t have a tablet like my kids did I would take some outside stuff to do, we actually went to the family dollar and got a couple of things to do outside(frisbee, water guns, bubbles, football) those things were aggravating BUT DEFINITELY WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. ALL OF THE GREAT THINGS OUT WEIGH THE BAD THINGS. Also if Jackson Homes sees this I would recommend fixing the cable in the main bedroom.

This home is a hidden gem. This beautiful home is nestled down a graveled driveway, passing rows of apple trees on several acres of land. It was the perfect vacation getaway.
