Paradise on the River is the perfect mountain getaway for larger groups or family reunions! Amid the Alpine forests of the Southern Rocky Mountains, this large cabin-style home sits in a park-like setting along the Rio Ruidoso River.

Step through the front door to be greeted by unique, rustic decor inspired by the history and culture of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Soaring vaulted ceilings lift your spirits, and the huge wall of windows gives you a wide-open view to the serene, wooded world outside. Take a seat on the comfortable couch, and warm up on a cool night around the magnificent, floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Open to the living room is the spacious kitchen with a large island for easy food preparation. Serve drinks or dessert to guests around the island at diner-style bar stools, or at the adjacent kitchen table for two. Share dinner in the dining room for a more formal, intimate meal.

Walk upstairs to relax in the loft space that overlooks the main living room, kitchen, and the view beyond. Here you’ll find a sofa and two comfortable, club chairs. On the ground floor is another living room with a separate entrance from outside. The mini-kitchen is perfect for brewing coffee in the morning and keeping a few snacks close by. Sit around the four-seat dining table with friends for a round of cards or get comfortable on the roomy sofa to watch a movie on the HD Smart TV.

The wrap-around deck seems to go on forever and is the perfect spot to spend a leisurely afternoon simply enjoying the beautiful, natural setting of Paradise on the River. Several outdoor chairs and a table for two are available for your use. Just across the property, you can investigate the Ruidoso Rio River. Whether playing in the river or simply listening to the water flowing over the rocks, you’ll feel rejuvenated by this natural treasure.

The bedroom arrangement at Paradise on the River is perfect for multiple families vacationing together or meeting up for a reunion! Three or more families could easily share the residence and still enjoy plenty of privacy. The primary suite is on the main level of the home with its own private bathroom. Unpack into one of the three chests to stay organized during your stay and keep cool beneath the ceiling fan. A peaceful sunroom with windows covering two of the walls is also located off of the primary bedroom. Do some reading overlooking the woods on the plush futon or unfold it to provide extra sleeping accommodations, if needed.

The second and third bedrooms are also spacious, and each has an adjacent living space. It’s almost like having three primary suites! Walk through the top-floor loft area to an inviting, comfortable bedroom with vaulted ceilings. Then step outside to the upper deck to relax in the fresh air and enjoy the view. It feels like a luxury treehouse! There’s room to stretch out in the large ground floor bedroom with a king-sized bed. The bunkroom will serve as vacation clubhouse central for the kids! Two sets of bunk beds will comfortably sleep a total of four. If you need more sleeping options, there are two sleeper sofas that can also be converted into beds, bringing the total sleeping capacity of Paradise on the River to sixteen.

Paradise on the River has three full bathrooms, making life so much easier for a large group vacationing together. The spacious primary bathroom has a decadent, free-standing bathtub and lots of counter space with a vanity seat. Since there are two other bathrooms in the house, you can take your time getting ready for the day. The second full bathroom is beautiful with white subway tiles and decorative, blue accent tiles. The wood cabinets match the wood trim throughout the house and offer storage space for your toiletries. Guests staying downstairs will appreciate the convenient full bathroom with a relaxing, walk-in shower!

All bed linens and plenty of towels are provided for you. Enjoy free WiFi throughout your stay, as well as the HD Smart TVs located in the primary bedroom and the downstairs living room. There is so much to do while staying at Paradise on the River, whether you want to stay home and relax by the river or venture out to explore Ruidoso and the surrounding area.

Visit the public swimming pool and tennis courts located within walking distance or head out to enjoy the many shopping and dining options in Ruidoso. Explore the rich history of the Old West at the Hubbard Museum of the American West or nearby Fort Stanton. The kids will love tubing at Ski Apache or go skiing at Ruidoso Winter Park. Golfers can test their skill among gorgeous scenery at the Links at Sierra Blanca golf course, and fishermen can try their luck fishing at Alto Lake and Recreation Area. Hike through the Lincoln National Forest or explore the White Mountain Wilderness area and enjoy breathtaking views of Sierra Blanca Peak throughout your vacation.
