Welcome to Cove's End, a cozy three-bedroom, two-bath private home overlooking Douglas Lake near Dandridge, Tennessee, in the Great Smoky Mountains.
This quaint historic community is a short drive from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the University of Tennessee. Located near U.S. Interstate 40, Cove's End is convenient to Sevier County (22 miles) as well as Knoxville and Bristol Motor Speedway.
There is a private dock behind the home so you can bring your own watercraft or rent a boat from local marinas and come, allowing you the convenience of going to and from the property as needed. There is also a concrete picnic table near the lake as well as plenty of driveway parking for vehicles and boats should you wish to bring your own.
Inside, amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, a gas grill, complimentary Wi-Fi, all linens and towels provided, and laundry.
Unpack the car and come inside! You’ll enter the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, where you’ll notice a combination of wood, tile and carpet flooring. The kitchen has plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals if desired. Just bring the food! Appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, glass-top range and oven, built-in above-range microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a peninsular bar with four high-boy bar seats. The adjacent dining area has a table seating four, with sliding glass doors out to the exterior deck. The dining area then flows into the living area that has a sofa, matching loveseat, tables, lamps, and a gas fireplace.
The primary bedroom with en suite bath has a king-size bed, nightstands with lamps, a chest of drawers and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The bathroom has a single-sink vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, nightstand with lamp and armoire with wall-mounted flat-screen TV above. The second guest bedroom has two single beds and an in-room wall-mounted flat-screen TV. There is a full guest bathroom and a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.
Cove's End has a covered screened-in porch on the back of the home with casual seating, which opens out onto an open deck where you can leisurely swing in the porch swing and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping your morning coffee. The deck is also the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day on the lake or touring and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. This deck also has a gas grill and a dining table.
