Description
As you enter the home you will find an open concept style home. The living area is cozy and quaint for relaxing with the family. Right off of the living area is a large balcony perfect to watch the sunset.
The dining area is between the kitchen and living area, adding more seating. Perfect for meals and game time. The kitchen is airy and clean with stainless steel appliances. The bar adds more seating for snacks and room for cooking.
Enjoy the private pool and balcony area located on the opposite side of the canal. This is perfect for a relaxing stay at home day. Enjoy sunbathing either on the canal side or pool side with a nice refreshment.
Sleeping arrangements are as followed:
Primary bedroom: 1 King (sleeps 2), Main Level
Second bedroom: 2 Full/Full (sleeps 8),Main Level
Living area: 1 Queen sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), Main Level
IN TOWN
Staying in town or near one of Galveston's Historic Districts has its own set of perks and is very different from the West End or near East Beach. Many in town homes are walking distance to the seawall, the beach, restaurants, shopping, the Historic Strand & Postoffice district, the Pleasure Pier, museums, the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, plenty of other attractions, things to do, grocery stores, Texas A&M University, Shriner’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated emergency care facilities in the world, a level 1 trauma and burn center.

This home is pet-friendly. 2 pets are allowed. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Pool and spa are serviced multiple times a week, and we make every effort to keep them in tip top shape. However, we cannot guarantee there won’t be a disruption, but we always make every effort to resolve any issues ASAP.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.

Beautiful home with lots of space and enough beds to accommodate many people. We absolutely loved the pool, and they even had pool toys available! Make sure to bring toilet paper, and don't walk barefoot on the patio. We got so many splinters on our feet. Overall a great stay!

Locale was the reason I booked Cozy Cove. It’s close to downtown, ferry & Seawall. It’s right on the canal & my BF was able to walk out & fish right off the private deck without being disturbed, catching small catfish, spot & a baby stingray. All were returned safely. If you want larger fish you’ll have to go to the Pier or bring a boat. What I didn’t expect was to find unkept grounds, grass overgrown with weeds, the patio by the pool had debris & stains, outdoor umbrella busted & there were a few live & dead crabs that found their way into the pool. Mildew in the main shower, hair found on the extra pillows stored in the main closet & stains on the couch. There were burn marks in the yard on canal side where it appeared that hot BBQ coal was dumped by prior tenants & a visit from the pest known as El Roach in the kitchen. No cleaning supplies, no condiments, no extras. Will not reply through AirBnB bc it’s a 3rd party. Response time was just ok. For the price I expected more & better.

So the pool is the best part. The house needs a lot of TLC. However, it is super cute and would be amazing if kept up with. Rusty outdoor furniture that could cut us. Broken outdoor seating, things smeared on different walls. Evey wall was scratched up, maybe fits 4 people in living room area. Management comapny sends a ehole legal document that they make you sign even though it does not reflect the actual rules of the house.
