The kitchen is uncommonly well-stocked and has a full range of appliances. Granite countertops add to the home-like feel. The living areas are bright and comfortable with a vaulted ceiling in the great room. The washer and dryer are located in the downstairs storeroom.
The canal offers a chance to fish from the boat dock and there are underwater fish lights to attract fish at night. There's a fish cleaning to process your catch. There are kayaks and a newly installed swimming pool for you to enjoy.
A deck wraps three-quarters of the way around the house, so you can always choose sun or shade. From the comfortable seats on the deck, you can enjoy an awesome view of your surroundings and boat traffic. And don't miss the sunsets! You will also enjoy the breezeway area downstairs. It's just right visiting with your party, or to take in the aroma of food grilling, or to have a drink or just take in the canal and pool views.
The yard space which includes the lot next door is exceptional. It is fenced on three sides. There's plenty of room for a game of fetch with your pooch or to set up a volleyball net or croquet game.
If you want to be indoors,. though, you'll find lots of entertainment options. There are board games and books. You will find all the electronics you could want. There is cable TV with DVR, DVD player, Roku, and Amazon Alexa. There is even an open connection to hook up your gaming system.
This will be your home away from home. You will feel very welcome here; especially when you find the complimentary welcome basket and a personal note from the owners.

Jamaica Beach Texas is one of the most popular beaches and sought-after neighborhoods when it comes to vacation rentals – what it lacks in size, it makes up for action during the summer months, holidays and event weekends! Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Seawall (8 miles), and but not too far away from most of the island attractions (10 miles from 61st Street). Jamaica Beach also has it’s own community pool and private marina and boat ramp, Regatta Basin, a community pavilion and playground.

This home is pet-friendly. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Jamaica Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.
Pool and spa are serviced multiple times a week, and we make every effort to keep them in tip top shape. However, we cannot guarantee there won’t be a disruption, but we always make every effort to resolve any issues ASAP.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

A Jekyll and Hyde sort of home. While the upstairs was lovely and the view was great, the downstairs needed some serious help. The downstairs bedroom looks nice, but the smell is AWFUL. My brother-in-law intended to stay in the downstairs bedroom, but it bothered his asthma. I tried the second night and I ended up with a migraine headache. The pool was dirty with green slime on the bottom. The pool man showed up to clean it as we were checking out. The fishing lights were broken, glaring green floating thing that made it hard to see. The downstairs patio furniture is stained and very rusty. The upstairs was lovely. Great TV. Well equiped kitchen. Comfortable beds, comfortable livingroom and deck furniture. The deck was really where we spent most of our time. Pretty view. I just wish that downstairs bedroom would have been a lot less smelly. Sleeping on the couch was a downer.

We arrived to a well lit, cool house with a basket of goodies which was such a nice treat after a long drive. Everything is super clean. The home is situated near the mouth of the bay and caught a 20 inch red, 3 large speckled trout, and a massive number of sand trout right off the dock. Cleaning station is right there, too. King beds are really comfortable and so is the living room furniture. Strong WiFi. Nice cozy pool with childproof locks on the 2 gates. We didn't take the dogs this time but the yard is huge, fenced, and clean. Several kayaks with paddles & life preservers, too. It is a very quiet and peaceful location. Just what we needed to recharge.

Beautiful place to stay on the water leading to West bay. Private pool and boat slip. Located on 3 lots large fenced yard perfect for kids to play and swim. Sunsets are spectacular. Nate\'s restaurant is close with great seafood. Convenience store close by for ice and other essentials. Multiple beach access roads within 1 mile drive. No complaints. Check in & check out are efficient and thorough but necessary to maintain a clean organized stay.

For the most part the house is what you\'d expect from a Jamaica Beach rental property. The house is as advertised; not the Ritz Carlton by any means, but nice enough. For the price point we paid: I\'d say it\'s not the best bargain, but based on the current market; the pricing makes sense. If you\'re expecting luxury this isn\'t the house for you, but if you aim to spend your time outside, and don\'t need extravagance to have a good time then you\'ll be just fine.

Pros : Good area, good fishing, awesome view, great pool, fenced side yard is good especially if you have a pet, good pots and pans in the kitchen....we had every thing we needed to make thanksgiving lunch....really enjoyed the time there P.S every house has its flaws just some more than others here are the cons Cons: really bad smell in the bottom bed room, outside furniture needs updating, found a couple of roaches in the kitchen, also renting straight through ryson Rentals will save you about 200 dollars
