On our second evening at the property, other guests and a rep (young man) from Ryson were trying to access the room. Apparently the other guest made a reservation for the same unit through a different online vacation service. I understand that mistakes happen, however instead of checking to see if the room was already checked out they tried to enter our room! I felt VERY violated. Thank goodness we were not indisposed or sleeping at the time! I felt very unsafe after this. How were we to know the gentleman assisting the other party was actually a rep with Ryson? It seems that there should have been knowledge that the room was rented gbt Ryson. Apparently the couple had trouble checking in with Casa del Mar since the room was not vacant so that should have been the first indication that the room was already occupied. Ryson should have cross referenced why instead of just trying to literally barge in. Not even a knock, they were literally trying to open the door. Furthermore no compensation or apology was offered for our major inconvience. THis place seems like its ran by very unprofessional slackers.
