Step out through the sliding glass doors onto a covered, screened balcony where you have a table and four chairs, a lounge chair and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable any time of day. You can hear the sound of the surf from your balcony. You’re that close.
After you’ve relished in your Gulf view, come back in to discover the beauty and creature comforts of Sunset 1101. Your living room is outfitted with a queen-sized sleeper sofa that is very comfortable along with armchairs, lamps and table, and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. There’s also free Internet within Sunset 1101. This is a huge help for setting tee times, making reservations, and sending photos home to friends.
Just beyond your living room, you’ll find the dining table with seats for four. You’ll enjoy dining around this elegant glass table with comfortable chairs.
You’ll find getting food from your kitchen to the dining table quick and easy when you use the pass-through window. Cooking in the well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure. There’s a full complement of appliances, granite countertops, and all the cookware, serving ware, and utensils you need to feed your group. There is also a community grilling area where you can grill the fish you catch or the steaks you pick up at the nearby market.
If you prefer to dine in the great outdoors, slip out onto your balcony and enjoy your meal al fresco while you listen to the Gulf waters and breathe in the wonderful sea air.
You also have a plethora of excellent restaurants all along Fort Myers Beach Island. Plan to enjoy some of our locally caught seafood.
As much as you’re going to love spending time at Sunset 1101, the island itself offers a host of pleasures you’ll want to experience. The silky sand beach right outside your condo is perfect for beachcombing and water play. Your complex’s location toward the peaceful southern end of the island puts you near Lovers Key State Park. This is a great place for biking, hiking, beachcombing, and picnicking in an unspoiled nature preserve. You’re also close to Santini Marina Plaza where you can shop, dine, and even arrange space on a fishing charter. Drive up to the northern end of the island to visit Times Square where you’ll find funky shops, sidewalk cafes, and interesting street performers on many days.
Your resort itself has a large heated pool where you can pull up a lounge chair and enjoy a good book while you work on your tan.
After you’ve watched the sunset over the Gulf either from the beach or on your secluded balcony, it won’t be long before you’re ready for bed. Your Sunset 1101 primary bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed with two nightstands and reading lamps, a large dresser, and TV for late night viewing. You’ll sleep like a baby in this restful room.
Your primary en-suite has a large walk-in shower and vanity with dual sinks and an expansive mirror. What a pleasure it will be to get ready for your day in this well-appointed room. Before you know it, you’ll be out on the balcony enjoying your first cup of coffee.
The second bedroom includes two twin beds, a nightstand with a reading lamp, and a dresser with a TV. This is a comfortable, handsomely decorated room that your guests will like claiming as their own.
Guests staying in the second bedroom have a bathroom with a shower/tub combination. There’s also a vanity with a sink and plenty of storage. Having a second bathroom is an enormous advantage. No waiting around for a turn in the shower.
Another Sunset 1101 convenience is the washer and dryer you’ll find in the condo. You won’t have to waste time trudging to a Laundromat. Just toss in a load of clothes and get on with your day.

Perfect location. Grounds at Sunset are beautiful. Unit is on top floor with gorgeous waterfront view. Many good restaurants close by.
