Pure Indulgence is the perfect cabin for a family vacation you’ll long remember. For one thing, it’s just minutes from Dollywood and the other attractions of both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. For another, the two-bedroom home, which accommodates 10 guests, offers plenty of its own attractions, including air hockey, an arcade and a pool table.

As soon as you pull into Pure Indulgence’s paved driveway, you’ll be delighted by the covered front porch spanning the width of the cabin. Furnished with rocking chairs—a mountain cabin must—it’s an ideal spot for sipping your morning coffee as the breeze rustles the leaves of the surrounding trees. The equally spacious rear deck includes a bistro table and chairs, plus a hot tub. While a soak among its pampering jets of water is a treat any time of day or night, it will feel especially rejuvenating after a day of hiking, skiing or biking.

Pure Indulgence’s interior is easily as charming as its exterior. The great room, for instance, is a haven with light wood-beamed ceilings, and large windows that let in plenty of sunshine. The leather couches invite you to watch a movie on the large flat-panel TV or surf the web via the free Wi-Fi. When you’re not using the dining table for family meals, gather around for a game of Uno or rummy. The table seats six, and three more can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar, courtesy of antique-style stools the kids especially will love.

The open, roomy kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cookware and tableware. Even if you eat your main meals out at the numerous nearby restaurants, you’ll appreciate having a refrigerator to keep juice boxes and milk cold, a microwave for making movie-night popcorn, and a blender for whipping up smoothies in the morning or daiquiris in the evening. Barbecue fans will be happy to know that Pure Indulgence has an outdoor charcoal grill.

The upstairs game room is likely to be your family’s favorite hangout space. When you’re not shooting pool, you can challenge each other to air hockey, play arcade games or sprawl on the leather sofas and watch TV. One of the couches open into a queen-size bed, as does one of the great room’s sofas. The kids will volunteer to make the game room their bedroom—and they’ll look forward to telling all their friends that they had an air-hockey table alongside their bed!

Pure Indulgence’s primary bedroom epitomizes tranquility. The lustrous wood-planked walls and ceiling help set a restful scene, as does the luxurious king-size bed. The second bedroom includes two queen-size beds, great if you’re traveling with parents who need to be in the same room as their little ones. There’s a full bathroom for each bedroom, complete with a combination shower/tub. For added convenience, a washer and a dryer sit just outside one of the bathrooms, so you can pack light.

Despite its leafy, quiet setting, Pure Indulgence is only a five-minute drive from the Pigeon Forge Parkway. That’s where you’ll find the Alcatraz East and Titanic museums, dinner theaters, go-karting, mini golf and the huge Tanger Outlet Mall. Dollywood is only 10 minutes away, as is Parrot Mountain and Gardens. In 20 minutes, you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, distilleries and more amusements. And the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is less than a half-hour away.
