Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes), outdoor water slide (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
If guests are interested in floating on the lazy river, Diamond Beach does not supply the tubes, and it highly recommended to purchase prior to arriving on the island, as they at times there may not be enough supplies at local stores to keep up with demand.
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

We have stayed many times at the Diamond Beach. This was the first time in this particular unit. It was obvious that the unit had not been seen by its owner in some time. First, there was an issue at check-in -- the keyfobs and garage opener wouldn\'t work any of the doors at the complex. So, I got stuck out while making trips unloading the car. The manager of complex was able to fix the issue the next day. Second, we had an issue with one of the toilets- when flushing, the inner mechanism wouldn\'t work properly so the water ran constantly and was very annoying. We reported it, were promised a plumber to fix it, but that never happened. One of the people in our party finally fixed the flapper so that we didn\'t have to turn on and off the water everytime we flushed. Third, the dishwasher wouldn\'t run so we had to wash all dishes by hand. However, this was made more difficult because there was not a stopper for the kitchen sink and we had to use a bowl down in the sink -- very annoying. Fourth, this condo had the least "stuff\"" in it of any that I\'ve rented. No extra rolls of toilet paper

Just as pictured, very clean, everything worked - only thing was the bathtub didn\'t drain very well and it was difficult to change from the shower setting to faucet. Other than that - no complaints. Diamond Beach overall in my opinion is the best place to stay in Galveston, with the pools, hot tubs and most of all, the lazy river.

We loved our stay Diamond Beach-Beach Time 212! The condo was well kept and the view from the windows/balcony was gorgeous! The easy access to the beach and excellent pool was perfect.

The condo was lovely for our family except for a few small things that can be approved on. 1) The Nest thermostat would set itself to 78 during the night…this is a pretty inconvenient and frustrating thing. A renter does not have app access to a personal Nest so I just had to keep waking up to monitor it. 2) The light in the hall bath tub does not work properly. This is where my children bathed and I shaved my legs…both things pretty hard to do in the dark. 3) I found it odd there were no bath mats for when leaving the tub/shower. Minor issue and probably an oversight but dangerous for my children especially, and just plain gross to be honest.
