You’ll never be bored during your stay at Woodland Escape. Not only is the three-bedroom log home just a few minutes from the numerous attractions of the Pigeon Forge Parkway, but it also offers plenty of entertainment options of its own, including a pool table, an arcade table, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. What’s more, in summer you can swim for free in the community’s pool.

At the same time, Woodland Escape is perfectly suited for simply kicking back and relaxing. You can do plenty of that on its huge wrap around deck. Begin your day sipping coffee on one of the Adirondack chairs as warblers and wrens celebrate the sunrise. End your evening gazing up at the constellations as owls hoot in the surrounding woods. The deck is delightfully shady in summer, while its fireplace will keep you toasty while you admire the kaleidoscopic foliage on brisk autumn afternoons.

The cabin’s great room is just as serene. Large windows let in plenty of sunshine, adding to the luster of the wood-planked walls, floors, and beamed ceiling. There’s a fireplace in here as well, well situated between the living and dining areas. Whether you’re stretched on a sofa watching TV or playing cards at the dining table, you’ll feel wonderfully at home.

The dining table seats six. Though Woodland Escape is close to scores of restaurants serving everything from sushi to steak to Southern specialties, sometimes it’s more relaxing (and more budget-friendly) to eat in. On those occasions, you’ll really appreciate the well-equipped kitchen. With its stainless-steel appliances, ample cookware and tableware, and generous elbow room, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, not a chore. And it’s so convenient to have a refrigerator to keep wine cold, a coffee maker for brewing a cup any time you like, and a blender for mixing either milkshakes or margaritas. What’s more, the park-style charcoal grill outside will help you satisfy any cravings you might have for barbecue.

Upstairs is where you’ll find the game room. Challenge the others to a game of pool at the full-size table or sit down at the arcade table for two for some classic gaming. The game room doubles as a bedroom. With full-size bunk beds, it can sleep up to four people. The kids will love making this their sleeping quarters. Having an arcade table in their bedroom just might be a highlight of their vacation!

Each of Woodland Escape’s two other bedrooms qualifies as a primary, with a king-size bed and a TV. In addition, one of the great room couches opens into a bed for two, enabling the cabin to sleep as many as nine people in all.

Along with three bedrooms, Woodland Escape has three bathrooms. What a relief not to wait in line for your turn to take a shower! When you arrive, you’ll find plenty of clean towels for the bathrooms, the beds already made up, and extra linens ready and waiting. Other conveniences include a private washer and dryer and a paved multivehicle driveway.

And while we’re on the subject of convenience, there’s Woodland Escape’s marvelous location. As you sit on the deck savoring the silence and the crisp mountain breeze, you might easily forget that the cabin is mere minutes from amusement parks, dinner theaters, and other attractions. Outdoor Gravity Park, where you can go zorbing year-round, is within walking distance. You can drive to the Titanic Museum, the Blake Jones Racing Center, WonderWorks and the Island entertainment complex in less than ten minutes. Only slightly farther are Dollywood, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, among many, many other attractions.

We weren’t kidding when we said you’ll never be bored! Don’t miss out—book your stay at Woodland Escape today, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

We were visiting for a dance competition and loved how close the cabin was to the convention center but also felt tucked away. We dealt with some smoke detectors going off randomly and intermittently and their maintenance team got on it right away. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We had everything we needed as far as kitchen items go. We will definitely look to re-book for next year’s competition.

We were in town for a dance competition and loved that the location of this cabin was a close drive, but felt tucked away. The cabin was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was a great space to relax after long days of dance. We enjoyed the pool. We had a situation where the smoke alarms were intermittently and randomly going off and the maintenance team took care of it promptly. If we are back in pigeon Forge for the next competition we plan to rebook. The kids suggestion is to take the coin return off the gaming system in the upstairs bedroom for unlimited play!

There were a couple of negative reviews that made me nervous to stay in this cabin. First, someone said there was no parking....parking is tight, it is throughout the entire community, but we were able to fit 2 minivans with no problems! Second, someone mentioned the hot tub does not heat up...the hot tub works perfectly! The location of this cabin is the best...2 minute drive to the strip and lots of activities! We came for a baseball tournament at the Ripken Experience and this was the perfect location! Less then 10 minutes from the fields! Also, having 2 community pools to walk to was a bonus! House jaf everything we needed for a week stay, 2 families (4 ad, 4 tweens). And it was clean! Would definitely stay here again!
