Sit back and relax in the spacious living room and watch your favorite shows on the huge flat-screen TV. For additional guest accommodations, the sofa converts to a queen-size bed. The fully stocked kitchen is every chef's dream with all new dishes, glassware and pots and pans—everything you need to make a great meal on those nights you don't feel like walking to a restaurant.
As you make your way up the stairs you will find three well-appointed and comfortable bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a queen-size bed, flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The next two bedrooms offer queen-size beds with flat-screen TVs. There is a shared bathroom nearby. The bunk room is downstairs and offers a twin-size bunk bed. The bunk room has a private entrance from the screened-in porch and has a full bathroom nearby.
The Hideaway is located just blocks from the lively coffee and ice cream shop with live entertainment. Or walk to the nearest Mexican food cafe for a yummy meal. Enjoy the screened patio and catch those wonderful sea breezes. There’s parking in front of the house which can accommodate two vehicles. We are in the golf cart zone! We enjoyed our stay except I had trouble getting the TV in my bedroom to work in Say 1. I called on day 2 and was told someone would be out, but no one came. Then called again and he did finally come on day 3. Unfortunately our electricity wasn’t working as a transformer was out. But since electricity was out, the maintenance guy was unable to fix tv. He did say it needed 2 different remotes. He did bring us one before his workday was over and it worked enough but was difficult to change channels. We were out and about days 1-3, but would have liked to conveniently watch the tv at night. We left on day 4. My question is: Why doesn’t property manager or someone he has hired taje time to check things out before a guest arrives to make sure everything is working in house. So time consuming and irritating to try to make something work, then to have to take time to explain the problem, and to not get it fixed right away.

Silver Sands has always been top of the line when we’ve stayed with them. This property was nice and clean, but a few things need to be addressed. It says the front door has a keypad ( it does not) you have to reach over the back gate and open it and use the keypad on the back door. It’s confusing because we thought we were at the wrong property but I called and a guy told me what to do. Also none of the TVs upstairs cable worked so there was no tv upstairs annd none of the remotes worked. and we also had no Wi-Fi the entire time we were there. Silver sands gave us the Wi-Fi name and password but no Wi-Fi by that name would ever pop up.

John, we wanted to thank you for your repeat business over the years. And we know how important it is to have reliable Internet. There happened to be a power outage before you arrived, so we immediately reset the router as soon as you brought it to our attention. As a result, future guests can expect fast, reliable Internet while staying at The Hideaway.
