Apache Village Cabinette 15 is a studio residence that was built in the post-war 1940s by an experienced builder. The cabinette exhibits quality craftsmanship and handcrafted details you’ll appreciate. While updates to suit modern tastes have been made through the years, the owners have strived to preserve the mountain cabin construction and rustic charm.

Inside, the cabin features handsome knotty pine walls and ceiling. Though space is limited, the ingenious builder managed to allow room for all guests’ needs. Of course, you’ll probably spend most of your days exploring the fascinating Ruidoso area. You are close to beautiful hiking trails and just a short drive from Lincoln National Forest where you will likely see deer, elk, wild turkeys and maybe even a bear. You’ll want to visit Alto Lake that is stocked with rainbow trout. You can also fish in Ruidoso River and Grindstone Lake. Ruidoso Winter Park has a zip-line that’s open year-round. In winter you can also tube down the hills. You’ll find beautiful golf courses in Ruidoso along with galleries, interesting shops and a wide choice of restaurants. There’s something for everyone in New Mexico!

If you dine out in a local restaurant, save your leftovers to reheat in your cabin’s microwave oven. You also have a mini refrigerator on hand. Walk down to the grocery store and bring back beverages and snacks to enjoy while you watch the wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable.

After a full day of exploring this fun-filled part of New Mexico, you’ll be more than ready to settle into your comfortable queen-size bed for a restful sleep. You’ll never sleep better than you do in the mountain air. If it happens to get warm in Apache Village Cabinette 15 just turn on the window air-conditioner and you’ll soon feel just right.

When the sun peeks through the window, you can awaken to a view of the pine-laden resort outside your picture window. Take a moment to get the coffee brewing and then savor a warm shower in the Apache Village Cabinette 15 bathroom. Before you know it, you’ll be dressed and enjoying your morning coffee out on the porch, planning your next day of fun in the mountains.

You’ll especially appreciate Apache Village’s meticulously maintained roads and grounds. Take a hike through the village and down to the nearby restaurant for some eggs and bacon to start your day.

You’ll create wonderful memories when you escape to Apache Village Cabinette 15 in beautiful Ruidoso, New Mexico. Book your stay today!

For the price the cabin was OK. No place to store anything so if you plan on staying a few days you might try getting a bigger room so you have someplace to put suitcases. We just left our clothes in our suitcases and pulled them out as needed. Another reviewer said the sheets were thin, but ours were fine. Another said they were scratchy but I think they might allow the sun to dry them so they are not as soft as if air dried. There is no laundry as stated on some page I found about the property. They need to do some cleanup - remove building materials from beside cabins, clean the porch areas (a leaf blower would do it), and remove trash, especially in the back area. The place is not good for kids - there is one swing. We did see both deer and elk on the property so that was a plus.

The pictures definitely look much nicer than it did in person, and they posted a picture of a lake that is not actually on the property, i still dont know which lake it was that was posted. Also the sheets and pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. And they have a to-do cleaning list for when you leave or you will be charged if you dont do it. It was clean and warm but overall wasn’t happy with the cabin

We had a very pleasant stay but the bed was a little uncomfortable and door didn’t shut very well so the cold air leaked and oddly with it being so cold we had ants and had to go buy spray to keep them out of our snacks. Cabin was much smaller than I thought it was supposed to be from looking at the pictures on the website.
