The balcony opens onto the living room, which is decorated in perfect Florida-getaway fashion. From the tiled floor (so deliciously cool underfoot when you return from beachcombing or biking) to the amply cushioned seating, the living room invites you to kick back and relax. Watch a favorite movie on the flat-screen TV with Blu-ray DVD player and free Netflix, or use the free wifi to surf the web. You can even take advantage of the unlimited long-distance calling in the U.S. to chat with friends back home. The roomy sofa opens into a bed for 2, so that the unit can sleep up to 4 people in all.

If you play beach volleyball, you’re sure to find a pickup game; if you want to head into the water, there are jet-ski, kayak, and sailboat rentals, and you can book a parasailing experience too. Simply want to relax while sipping a beer? Stop in at Doc’s Beach House, a restaurant/bar right on the beach that’s a favorite with locals and visitors alike.

For the most part it was in good shape. The water heater was turned off and the dish washer didn\'t work. We were told to drive to the VRP office for the key. However the key was not there. No one told us in advance that the key was in the lockbox on the door of the unit. If we had gotten to our unit 15 minutes later we would have had to find a hotel room else where for the night. The management company on site told me to contact the owner about the dishwasher and disposal, but would not tell me how to contact them. They just blew me off.
