Where you'll be
Description
Mama Bear’s Den can perfectly accommodate up to six guests in its two bedrooms. Your vacation home is air-conditioned and there’s a wood-burning stove in the living room to keep everyone warm and cozy.
Out front you’ll find parking for two vehicles. Getting inside Mama Bear’s Den is easy too. There’s a no-stairs way of entry.
When you walk through the front door, you’ll enter a cozy living room with comfortable couch and loveseat. Both are positioned to give a good view of the flat-screen TV with cable and DVD player. You also have a good view of the woods through your French doors that lead to the large deck out back. Mama Bear’s Den also has high-speed Internet, which is great for checking out websites for area attractions, playing electronic games, or sending photos home to friends.
You’ll enjoy sitting in the sun on your deck, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and listening to the sounds of nature all around you. It’s such a peaceful setting. There’s a gas grill out on this deck so you can cook up any fish you catch at Grindstone Lake or steaks you pick up at the nearby market.
When you’re not heading down the hill for a meal in town, gather your group around the dining table with four chairs. If additional seating is needed you can set up to place at the nearby breakfast bar.
You Mama Bear’s Den kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and serving ware you need to prepare your favorite recipes. There’s plenty of counter space, which makes meal prep so much more convenient.
When the sun falls behind the mountains, your thoughts will begin turning toward a good night’s sleep. A day of golfing, fishing, skiing, or shopping the galleries will do that to you. Fortunately up the stairs you have a cozy retreat where you can rest and restore your stamina for another day. The first bedroom within Mama Bear’s Den has a queen-sized bed and its own private bathroom with shower/tub combination and vanity with large mirror.
The second bedroom is also upstairs and is outfitted with two king-sized beds to accommodate up to four people if needed. The large window in this room gives a good view of the beauty around your vacation home.
This bedroom also has its own bathroom with shower/tub combination. The second bathroom also houses the Mama Bear’s Den washer and dryer. It’s so easy to keep your family in clean clothes when there are laundry facilities right in your home.
Make today the day you reserve your preferred vacation dates at Mama Bear’s Den. You’ll have a wonderful time playing in the mountains and making memories you’ll remember for a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend it’s a quick drive or even walk to any local spots. We will definitely be visiting and booking this cabin again!

This was a last little trip before school starts and it was a great little cabin to stay in. Plenty of room and was nice and clean. I wasn’t aware of how steep and shallow the stairs were to the bedrooms and my husband had a hard time going up and down. The king bed was comfy but the sheets were a little stiff, I’d rather have softer ones or use some Downy when washing. The kitchen and living area was good, although we didn’t cook. There were plenty of towels which was nice. Not bad overall but probably won’t stay because of my husbands disability and steep stairs.
