Discover the history and wonder of one of America's most unique cities when you stay at the incredible Casa Violeta!

Conveniently located near Santa Fe Plaza, this quaint, two-bedroom home is near historic downtown Santa Fe, where you can experience firsthand the amazing architecture of the Santa Fe Plaza and the original Spanish Market Square, the 17th Century Palace of the Governors, the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Loretto Chapel with its unusual spiral staircase winding up to the choir loft. You can also visit nearby pueblos and immerse yourself in the area’s rich Native American history and culture. And with an average of 320 sunny days each year, the area around Santa Fe is a hub for skiers, mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, river rafters and so much more!

Built in Santa Fe’s distinctive Pueblo Revival style with hacienda walls, this spacious home is ideal for smaller families or two couples traveling together. With tiled floors, wood, a Viga beamed ceiling, a corner kiva fireplace and comfortable furniture, Casa Violeta’s bright living room is a beautiful place to hang out. A large flat-screen smart TV provides entertainment, or you can take advantage of the free Wi-Fi to surf the web or explore local attractions as you plan the day's adventures.

Santa Fe has a plethora of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. A kitchen equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave and toaster, the kitchen provides access to everything you need for a simple meal to a simple toasted Jalapeno bagel and cup of coffee. You will also find all the pots, pans, dishes and flatware you’ll need. This kitchen has no oven. There’s convenient seating at the handy breakfast bar, or you can have your meal outdoors to enjoy the outdoor dining set on the private, flagstone patio.

You will want to be well rested for all the great hiking opportunities the area has to offer, and Casa Violeta’s comfortable primary bedroom with a queen-size bed and dual nightstands with reading lamps can help you there. Bringing the kids? The second sleeping space is furnished with a futon that unfolds into a full-size bed, plus a handy workspace in case you need to check in with the office. Accented with colorful Talavera tiles, the full bathroom is furnished with plenty of fresh, fluffy towels.

Last (but certainly not least!) is Casa Violeta’s large patio and backyard. Walled in for privacy, this restful spot is the ideal place to stay sheltered from the sun by the cottonwoods as you enjoy the lovely landscape. Grab a nightcap and throw some steaks on the grill while you take in the beauty of the desert evening!

Proof that convenience and charm can go hand-in-hand, Casa Violeta is the perfect base of operations for your Santa Fe getaway. So don’t let it get away from you—book your Southwestern vacation today!

The space is very cute and cozy, however it is definitely only capable of 2 adults and 1 or 2 small children. The space is a guest wing of a larger home...which we weren't aware of. The outside area has been roughly separated by some fencing and rather low end Potts, and your pets will be able to get into the other side of the property with ease. The entry gate is very difficult to close and needs work. The space has low door frames inside and the is a raise floor into the bedroom which we constantly caught our toes on, also needs work. Other than those observations, the space is as described, clean, and very close to the gallery district.
