Welcome to Island Winds 102, a two-bedroom, two-bath gulf-front condo with generous square footage. The resort is on the quiet southern end of Estero Island, close to a public marina, restaurants, and other services that can be reached on foot. There is also a quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier, restaurants and boutiques. Amenities at Island Winds include a resort-style pool and spa located between its two towers. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. Condo amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans, all linens and towels, and a private laundry area.

Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby. There are luggage carts available there to simplify your arrival. Walk into an entry hallway into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is tile flooring throughout. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of Corian counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals if so desired. Appliances include a dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispenser in the freezer door, range with oven and built-in above-range microwave oven. There is a cafe table seating two. The adjacent dining room has a buffet and table seating six. The living room is decorated in earth tones with a tropical decor that offers an indoor beach feeling. It's bathed in natural light from the large walls of windows and sliders. Various seating options provide everyone a comfortable resting spot. Curl up in front of the large flat screen TV or relax on the comfortable furnishings. Open the sliding glass doors off the living room to enter the first of three screened in lanais. The living room lanai offers views of the Gulf of Mexico. This is sure to be one of your favorite spots. Walk right out through the lanai onto the Island Winds grounds and head out to the beach! Two BBQ grills and a seating area are right outside your door, as is the putting green for your use while you are here.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, night stands and lamps and a dresser with mirror and flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access to a lanai. The en suite bath has a vanity with dual lavatories and storage space beneath, commode and nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass doors. The guest bedroom has two single beds, night stand and lamp and ample closet space. Sliding glass doors provide access to a lanai. The adjacent guest bathroom has a vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass doors.

The room was great but was not a fan of the constant watch by a security guard while we swam all day everyday for 7 days!!! . Not allowed to jump in pool, play music or even have a ball to play with. Sorry but pretty sure I won't be coming back. Property manager rude and let's not even talked about the used condom in the elevador that was there for more than a day!
