In a wonderful location nestled at the end of 24th Ave., this quiet cottage will instantly be your home away from home. Have an electric car? Charge while you vacation with the conveniently provided EV - Electric Car Charger port! Enjoy the cool morning shade from the new back deck. Sip your coffee slowly, it will take some time to take in the views of the bay and the birds, with the marsh and sound waters beyond. When the surf calls, its just a short walk up 24th Ave and over to the next side street is the public beach access. After spending time on the beach, relax on the front deck, with afternoon shade and more great long range views of nature and sounds waters. Sunset Bay has a traditional feel with modern upgrades including a renovated kitchen with granite countertops, an open main room for enjoying time together and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds for your relaxation at the end of a full beach day. Enjoy cookouts with the gas grill, another way to take in the surrounding views of the sound and marshlands. After dinner, walk out the path to the edge of water to watch the birds dive for fish, or throw a line in yourself. And of course, take a moment to enjoy the pretty sunset.

We loved the place the most wonderful sun sets we have seen, on dead end street, quiet area we just love the cottage. Enjoyed the big decks, short walk to beach all the birds and we seen a small 2-3 alligator -Bring binoculars there is so much to see out back.

Sunset Bay was absolutely perfect for our stay. The view of the sunset was breathtaking! The home is located close enough to the restaurants and activities, but far enough away that you can fully immerse in nature. The home was spotless, which meant we were immediately comfortable settling in and could leave all our worries at the door. I would recommend this home and Carolina Retreats to anyone that is looking for a quite place to relax and and unwind.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bay. It was clean, close to beach access and had a great view of the sound. It’s located sound side on a quiet street. We loved being able to sit on the back deck and watch the heron and seagulls fly over the sound without other houses blocking the view. Thank you for providing beach chairs and stuff to use - we didn’t need to but it was nice to know we could have. My only suggestion for improvement would have been ceiling fans but I know not everyone likes or needs them. I would recommend this house to others and consider staying again.
