Casa del Mar Galveston offers two swimming pools; one of the pools is heated during the winter months. Casa del Mar also offers a community grilling area, onsite coin-operated laundry on first and third floors, vending and ice machines on the second floor and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the resort grounds.

Create your own adventures with beach gear and golf cart rentals, a sunset cruise or a bonfire and smores on the beach. Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Casa del Mar reservations require guests to pay a Parking/Registration Fee. Parking/Registration Fee is for up to two vehicles, and the term is up to 30 days. Guests with reservations of 30+ days will need to purchase an additional permit after 30 days.
HOA fees (resort, parking, amenity, etc.) are to be paid directly to the HOA upon arrival via debit or credit card (cash will not be accepted).
Some Casa del Mar units have a bunk bed or bed in the hallway alcove area (24 by 72 inches), and are typically only recommended to accommodate children or small adults. Guests should review sleep arrangement options to determine if setup would be comfortable for their group.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

The condo was clean and fresh upon our arrival. Everything worked like it should. The location was conveniently located right across the road from the beach but the intersection was quite busy but manageable. The bedroom has a window that faced into the main hallway ( poor design in my opinion lol) the lights were so bright that at night it was very bright in the bedroom. Maybe getting some new blackout curtains and better blinds would fix that problem. We just hung a blanket over the curtain to help make it darker at night. Other than that we we had no issues and found everything to be like it was stated in the description. Great weekend in Galveston with our kids.

Positives - Property was as advertised and is priced well. Very clean and had all of the things needed for a nice stay - lots of towels, smart TV, kitchen essentials. Only negatives - street noise was loud at times from the balcony since it faces the street. Also, the bedroom needs blackout curtains since the hallway light is on at all times.

Property was nice however the beds were uncomfortable. The towels were not replaced and we still needed to pay to wash and dry our towels which in my opinion is ridiculous. The lighting in the bedroom was not good at all. We enjoyed our stay but the customer service needs to improve with the rental.
