The open concept living/dining/kitchen area has great flow where the family may enjoy relaxing, playing games at the large dining table, and meal preparation in this well-appointed modern kitchen. The fourth bedroom is located on the first level of the home and is two twin bunks (sleeps 4) which has a full bath. The half bath is also located on the first level of the home. The other three bedrooms are upstairs (2nd floor). The primary bedroom has a queen bed with an en-suite bath featuring a separate tub and step-in shower and a walk-out deck for morning coffee while guests watch as the ships pull in and out of Galveston harbor. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a jack-and-jill bath. They are also located on the second floor of the home.
Come and enjoy something new and different on the East Beach of Galveston. The Skin and Bones home will delight even the most particular guest! This home has ample entertainment opportunities, close to the beach, and has gorgeous views. Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals.

THE PRESERVE AT GRAND BEACH
The Preserve at the Grand Beach, located on East Beach, is one of the newest subdivision and was developed by Mickey Giles and Frank Schaefer to bring the first gated beachfront community to Galveston Island. The Preserve is just minutes away from Galveston’s Historic Downtown, Strand and Postoffice Districts, Seawall Boulevard and the free Galveston-Boliver ferry.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

The stopper on the L sink in the master bedroom would not go down. I would say if you need curtains to block out light, don't stay here. We all woke up early in the morning.

I loved the various balconies at the location. It wasn't busy, and the few people there were very friendly. Definitely the place to get REST AND RELAXATION!

Everything was nice, the “starter pack†of necessities was more than enough for us. There was a bug problem. There were a lot of ants coming from under the living room rug and one bit my one year old and the mosquitoes were worse at this home than the neighboring so I'm guessing others treat for them. Overall we would definitely be back.

We loved the layout of the house. Plenty of room for our family. The 3.5 baths was really nice. Very clean. They have plenty of chairs on the deck but since they are low to the ground, the view is looking through the railings of the deck. The outside shower doesn\'t work. They did have a water hose and we used that to rinse the sand off of us before entering the house. They have a set of patio furniture on the ground floor but it has a chord with lock intertwined through the set. You can sit on them but you will have to sit on the chord and they are locked close together. We didn\'t use them. You can not access the beach from behind the house so you must walk to the community gate which is estimated about 3/4 way down the street. Be sure you have a wagon to haul your stuff down to the beach. Its not far but its still a walk. I love that its gated community. The location is great. We had difficulty with the refrigerator being cold. We kept our water on the counter so as not to open it much. We finally realized the settings were off. We had to reset to manufacturer recommendations and it was fine. Just something to check. It is computerized settings. There is some drainage issues in the upstairs middle bathroom shower. It drains but the water collects in the bathtub quicker than it can drain. overall we were happy with the house and the location. We would rent this house again.
