Where you'll be
Description
Sweet Blessings’ setting is nothing short of spectacular. Fortunately, the deck is furnished so that you can spend hours outdoors. Enjoy breakfast at the picnic table while wrens and warblers greet the day, then sip a nightcap under the stars while ensconced in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The vistas are so glorious and the surroundings so serene, you’ll find it hard to believe just how close you are to everything from mountain coasters to restaurants.
The cabin’s interior is just as restful. The wood-planked cathedral ceiling gives the great room an airy, welcoming vibe, which is enhanced in winter by the golden glow of the fireplace. Once you sink into the plush sofa or one of the two roomy recliners, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player to keep you entertained, along with free Wi-Fi.
When it comes to dining, you have numerous options. Scores of restaurants, offering everything from seafood to Italian to fondue, are just a short drive away. You can also dine either on the deck or in the great room’s dining area. Four people can comfortably sit at the round dining table, and two more can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re hosting a holiday feast or whipping up margaritas to enjoy by moonlight.
Each of Sweet Blessings’ two bedrooms includes a log-frame queen-size bed. One bedroom is on the main floor, while the second is tucked up in the loft. Having the bedrooms on separate floors allows for additional privacy. If you have extra guests, you can open the great room’s sofa, it converts to a queen-size bed.
Along with two bedrooms, Sweet Blessings has two bathrooms. You’ll be able to indulge in a long, pampering shower without worrying about a line forming on the other side of the door. Nor do you have to worry about bringing towels or linens. You’ll arrive to find plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms, the beds impeccably made up, and extra bedding ready and waiting. If you want to start your vacation with a shower or a nap, you can.
Chances are you won’t want to spend too much time sleeping, however. There’s simply too much fun to be had nearby! If you stay at Sweet Blessings in the summer, you’ll have free access to Chalet Village’s outdoor swimming pool. A visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must. You can discover its wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls on foot, on bike, on horseback or by car. Also close by is Ober Gatlinburg, where you can ski and snowboard its slopes in winter and enjoy rides, ice-skating and a wildlife exhibit year-round. The attractions of downtown Gatlinburg include the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, mini golf and arcades. Also nearby are the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster and the Wild Bear Falls indoor water park.
No matter how you spend your day, you’ll love returning to the quiet, calm, and natural beauty of Sweet Blessings afterward. Book your stay today and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Once it gets a deep cleaning, this will be a sweet place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. If you hear noises in the night, it most likely is a bear trying to get in your car. I told my co-workers I was going to find me a bear and the bear did come. Love the road to the cabin - we had lot of laughs with that. I do have lots of memories there.

Parking can fit two vehicles. It is on a steep drive up. There are some bears that like to leave muddy paw prints on your vehicles. Overall a great location.

most of the cabins we have stayed in with jackson homes have been very good. but this one although it was in a good aera and had a nice view it is an older cabin that lacked a few things like being able to do laundry. and the issue with the smell when the upstairs bathroom was used.

I would not necessarily recommend this A-frame, but I'm sure the management company has other places that are better maintained (and likely more expensive because of that).
