When you stay at Cozy Bear 8, you’re treating yourself to the full cabin experience in a location that is within easy walking distance of all the fun and dining pleasures of downtown Ruidoso. You’ll also be an easy drive from the Sierra Blanca Mountains and Ski Apache. It’s hard to imagine a more convenience location for your mountain getaway.

As great as it is outdoors at Cozy Bear 8, you’ll find even more to enjoy inside the cabin. When you walk in the front door, you’ll enter a large room that encompasses your kitchen, living area and dining space. A couple or even two couples will have a great escape in this well-equipped cabin. You have HDTV with cable and a DVD player plus there’s a gas log fireplace to take the chill off a frigid evening. The large couch makes out into a bed if your group includes more than two people. The Cozy Bear 8 kitchen is designed for efficiency, yet manages to include everything you need to cook and serve meals. The dining table for two can expand to serve four. It’s a fun place to share your day’s stories or to enjoy a game of Bridge, Uno or Hearts. The large bedroom features a queen-size bed, reading lamp, chest of drawers and ceiling fan. Open the windows and let the mountain air in for an incomparable night’s sleep. Just off the bedroom you’ll find the Cozy Bear 8 bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a vanity with plenty of room to spread out your toiletries.
