From the outside, Magical Moments looks like your prototypical mountain cabin, down to the covered front porch furnished with log chairs and a swing. There’s no easier way to leave the everyday behind and slip into vacation mode than to sit on a porch swing with a favorite beverage in hand as the mountain breeze rustles through the trees and the birds sing a serenade.
The back deck is even more blissful, thanks to its hot tub. Enjoy a soak under the stars at least once during your stay, and you’ll understand why the cabin is called Magical Moments!
The magic continues indoors. The planked walls and ceilings, the stone-surround gas fireplace, and the wood furnishings of the living area are in the rustic tradition, but there’s nothing old-fashioned about the flat-panel TV with cable and a DVD player or the Wi-Fi.
Likewise, the kitchen’s handset stone backsplash and breakfast bar/counter are a delightful contrast to the array of modern appliances, from a refrigerator with ice maker to a dishwasher. Whether you’re preparing a gourmet feast for family and friends or just whipping up a batch of margaritas to bring out to the deck, you’ll find all the gadgets, cookware and tableware you need.
Magical Moments has its own game room, where you can choose between a foosball table and a multi-game arcade. This room doubles as a second bedroom—it even has a queen-size bed, a dresser and an en-suite bathroom. We’re sure the kids won’t mind sleeping in the same room as the arcade!
Then there’s the “real” bedroom, a wood-paneled delight with an inviting log-frame king-size bed, a flat-panel TV with cable and DVD player, and a bay window that enables you to wake up to a view of sun-dappled trees. This bedroom has its own private bathroom, complete with a jetted tub. After a day spent exploring Dollywood with the kids or hiking the mountain trails, you’ll love escaping into the tub for a steamy private retreat!
If you have additional guests, they can get comfortable in the living area. The plush sofa opens into a bed for two. You’ll find plenty of extra bedding and stacks of freshly laundered towels when you arrive—no need to bring your own. In fact, you can pack even lighter than usual, since Magical Moments has a washer and dryer.
When you stay at Magical Moments in the summer, you can take advantage the Mountain Shadows Resort pool, which is within walking distance. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Surrounded by trees, Magical Moments feels marvelously secluded. Yet, it’s less than 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops,and attractions ranging from mini golf to an aquarium. My family had an amazing stay. It was a very nice getaway, we just wish we could have stayed...
My family had an amazing stay. It was a very nice getaway, we just wish we could have stayed longer! I loved the privacy of the cabin while also being conveniently close to downtown Gatlinburg. The kids kept begging to just go back and hang out in the cabin, so I have a feeling we will be back here again in the future.

Our stay was great. The hosts were very quick to respond and answer questions. The hot tub jets didn’t work as well as we expected them too and the hot water seemed to run out a little fast. Overall, we had a great experience though. There were no major problems or inconveniences.
