Where you'll be
Description
The area surrounding this comfortable, spacious, private home is loaded with opportunities for outdoor adventurers, from skiing at the nearby Ski Apache resort to hiking and mountain biking in Lincoln National Forest. During the summer, Ruidoso Downs Racetrack features horse racing while, northeast of the village, history buffs can enjoy exploring the 19th Century adobe and stone buildings and museum of the Lincoln Historic Site.
Within a short distance of the Sierra Blanca Mountain range, this beautiful three-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation home is bursting with comfort!
Dominated by floor-to-ceiling picture windows and skylights that overlook breathtaking woodland views, Journeys End’s lavish living room invites you to relax with leather furniture, wood floors, and rich décor. A stone fireplace sets a peaceful tone, while the large, flat-screen cable HDTV is perfect for movie nights. Set in the high, slightly sloped ceiling overhead, a ceiling fan stirs the air. Nearby, a roomy dining room is a perfect place to gather for a game of cards or family meal. Fully equipped with every appliance, Journeys End’s beautiful kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and dishes you could want to make your favorite meals, while the gleaming granite countertops provide ample room for prep.
With the beautiful scenery all around Journeys End, you could find yourself spending most of your vacation on the deck. Sit on the patio and enjoy a meal prepared on the gas grill while you take in the peaceful atmosphere. Day or night, the New Mexico sky is always beautiful in any weather.
Full of light and space, Journeys End’s primary bedroom is a veritable haven of relaxation that feels like a personal retreat-within-a-retreat! A gorgeous queen-sized bed is flanked by two nightstands with reading lamps and has a ceiling fan overhead. If you’re feeling wakeful, a large HDTV will soon have you nodding off. Step into the primary bedroom’s sumptuous en suite bathroom. Next to the well-lit vanity is a linen closet furnished with plenty of fresh towels. The walk-in shower is separate from the spacious soaking tub so you can bathe according to how you feel – a long, relaxing soak or a quick, refreshing shower.
Traveling with the kids or another couple? Journeys End is all about convenience as well as comfort. The second bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed and HDTV, and kids will love sharing the two sets of twin-size bunk beds in the third bedroom. Multiple bathrooms keep waiting in line for the shower to a minimum, while a laundry room with washer and dryer negates the need to find a laundromat (or to overpack). Last but certainly not least is Journeys End’s finished basement, which offers a second living area (complete with private deck access, extra sleeping space, lots of seating, and a large HDTV) that’s sure to become the kids’ favorite hangout.
Full of comfort and charm, Journeys End is a lovely home, perfect for refreshing yourself between hiking, biking, and hitting the slopes. Lock in your dates today (before someone else does)! HOA rules prohibit loud music or activity outside the property or in common areas of the gated community.

The condo had many problems. We had4 tv and had issues with them for days. The dishwasher was locked so we could not use it for most of our stay we were told by toe lady at the office to just wash our dishes by hand. That is not the issue when you pay as much as we did for a condo everything should work. The stove would not light the entire time we were there. Andrew came to help he was a very nice young man.

Great place to stay. The house is very cozy and the neighborhood is very quiet. Loved all the views this place has to offer. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
