Islander East 209-Islander Getaway is a place to take a break from the stresses, strains and struggles of everyday life. This Galveston, Texas, vacation rental is a studio condo with beachfront views and a balcony where guests can watch as the cruise ships leave port and professional fishermen take their shrimp boats out for their early morning catch. Islander East 209 faces the beachfront and has floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding glass door to access the balcony, where you’re sure to find yourself often throughout your stay. It’s a great studio and features a well-curated space for a small family or a couple’s getaway! There’s an easy-to-use queen-size Murphy bed along with a twin-size bed as well as a twin trundle that may be used as a sofa during the daytime.

Islander East 209-Islander Getaway’s compact kitchen is updated and includes a two-burner cooktop, microwave/convection oven, cookware, dishware, kitchen gadgets and utensils, making it easy to prepare your favorite dishes and snacks. Guests may dine around the table or head outside to the balcony for an alfresco experience.

Islander East 209 is close to all that Galveston has to offer including the Downtown Strand District, close to the Port of Galveston, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. This is the place to be to make fantastic vacation memories!

Islander East Condominiums offer an outdoor swimming pool with a new fountain and views of the Gulf of Mexico. The complex recently added pickleball courts, a basketball and a tennis court, Bocce ball and a fire pit. Guests are also welcomed to make use of the community picnic area and barbecue grills. Guests will appreciate the convenience of an on-site laundry and ice machine. Islander East is located on the beachfront and is only a short walk over the dune bridge to get to the edge of the water. It’s a one-minute walk to the beach. Islander East offers ample parking for up to two vehicles, but make sure to only park in spaces with a blue stone.
