Big Log Lodge is a new Deep Creek Lake log home with an old feel. It has all of the essential amenities for a truly fantastic vacation experience. Offering four bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, queen beds and a smart-TV; a great option for four couples! Additionally, there is a queen-size futon in the loft area.

If you seek a classic mountain getaway with modern amenities, look no further. A spacious great room features exposed log walls, cathedral ceilings and a cozy gas fireplace. A wall of windows in the great room reveals scenic woodland views.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal prep with a gas stove, stainless appliances, custom wooden counters and a large dining table for family meals, games, and puzzles. Take advantage of the four-burner gas grill for leisurely evening BBQs with friends.

The four-season room is a great spot to relax; kick-back in one of the rocking chairs by a crackling fire (wood provided) and watch the snow fall outside.

Enjoy a good night's sleep in the main level primary suite with deck access, either upper-level primary suite (one with a private balcony), or the lower-level bedroom with queen-over-queen bunk beds.

The wrap-around front deck, two rear decks, fire pit and new hot tub provide opportunities for outdoor fun.

Enjoy the lower-level family room with a pool table, dart board, large screen smart-TV and leather sectional.

Located across from hole #4 of the well-known Lodestone Golf, and both Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Resort (skiing, snow tubing, ziplining, white-water rafting, etc) are just a short five-minute drive. Swallow Falls State Park is a 15-minute drive for hikes to the many waterfalls.

The adjoining lot (included in your reservation) has a cleared sled riding hill and sleds are provided!

I had to call back to see when maintenance was coming out for the lock key-the representative said she would call me back immediately with an ETA and didn’t. I asked if we could have a late check out on sunday-12 instead of 10 because of being delayed on our check in. She said she’d check with manage-never called me back.

I would share that the beds are squeaky, wash or bring your on bedding & take garbage out daily and before you pack car up to check out(especially if you have a small vehicle). OVERALL, the GREAT VACATION HOME out ways the little imperfections.

We came to deep creek to make one last memory before summer's end, to reconnect with our closest family and friends, and to escape the chaos of everyday life. We canceled almost all of our plans to stay at the cabin the whole trip, besides one half day outing to the beach, and one nice dinner on the outdoor deck at Uno's. Everything else was at the cabin. Darts, movies, fireplaces, puzzles, hottub, sauna, board games, built in speakers, beautiful views, a deck on every side of the house so you can always find the sun, pool table, well equipped kitchen, we even grilled out, and made mountain pies over a fire. Had a bear stop past and sniff around the fire pit one evening. It was an amazing time with perfect weather!
