If your ideal family vacation consists of minimal time in the car and maximum time at the beach, Madeira Beach Yacht Club 215F is the Florida getaway for you. The 2-bedroom condo, which sleeps 6, is just a short stroll from Archibald Memorial Beach Park and the Gulf of Mexico. Along with sparkling white sands, the park includes a covered picnic area, public restrooms, and 2 beach volleyball courts. There’s a snack bar too—after all, you’re sure to work up an appetite after all that swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, parasailing, and beachcombing!
Also, just steps from the condo are a marina and the Boca Ciega Bay. At least once during your stay, you should stroll down to one of the resort’s fishing piers early in the morning to watch the sunrise as dolphins and manatees cavort in the bay. You can also walk to restaurants, shops, mini golf, and R.O.C. Park, which includes a playground, a butterfly garden, a splash pad, and a man-made waterfall. The kids will love it!
There’s plenty more to keep everyone entertained within the gated Madeira Beach Yacht Club. For starters, there are 2 heated outdoor pools. After your swim, you can laze on a poolside lounger while palm trees rustle in the breeze, or you can cool off under the umbrella of a patio table. Or perhaps you’d rather head into the clubhouse and work out in the gym, luxuriate in the sauna, or shoot some pool.
As for unit 215F, it’s just the restful retreat you want to return to after a day on the go. Decorated in soothing hues, the living room has 2 well-cushioned roll-arm couches where the whole family can gather to watch a favorite cable show on the flat-screen TV, play charades, or plan the next day’s adventures.
Though dining out is often a vacation highlight, sometimes it’s more relaxing—and more budget-friendly—to eat in. Madeira Beach Yacht Club 215F’s sunny dining room seats 6. It’s located just off the galley kitchen, which is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, and tableware. Whether you’re brewing your morning coffee or hosting a full-fledged feast, you’ll find all the accouterments you need.
