Welcome to Dolphin Way A106, a one-bedroom, one-bath beachfront condo located on Little Hickory Island in Bonita Springs, known for its multi-million dollar beachfront homes. Nestled among these homes you'll find Dolphin Way, a gated beachfront condo complex. Building A was built on a diagonal providing beautiful views of the gulf from two sides of each condo. The resort offers a heated swimming pool and cabana, as well as covered parking beneath the buildings. There are coin operated laundry facilities on each floor. Please note condo association rules state that we can only rent this condo for a minimum of 2 weeks. During winter months the owner will only rent for full month stays. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing destination, or one filled with fun, adventure and nightlife, you'll find it here. Jet ski and kayak rentals, parasailing and pick-up games of volleyball can be found just a short drive down the road behind Doc's Beach House Bar and Grill. Shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Jet ski, boat and kayak rentals, as well as restaurants and the local island information center are in close proximity. Barefoot Beach Nature Preserve is just four miles south. Here you'll find secluded beach areas, nature paths and wildlife viewing. Just a two to five minute drive to the north you'll also find Lovers Key State Park Beach and Fort Myers Beach. Going south of Bonita to Marco Island you can take in the Swamp Buggy Races, head to Naples for shopping on Fifth Avenue, or go further south to the Everglades for an airboat tour. Numerous shops and restaurants abound right outside your door or just a short drive away. Museums/galleries, live theater, charter fishing tours and even ice hockey are all just a few minutes' drive. Condo amenities include central air conditioning, complimentary WiFi, cable TV and all towels and linens are provided. Entry is via elevator to the first floor and into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is tile flooring throughout. The beautifully remodeled kitchen has custom cabinetry, granite counter-tops, and high-end stainless steel appliances. For those who love to cook, a double oven has been provided for your cooking creations. The owners have provided everything you'll need for preparing meals during your stay, including a dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze. There is a pass-through bar into the dining area with two barstools on that side, and a table seating two. The dining area flows into the living area that is furnished with a sleeper-sofa, end table and lamp, coffee table and an over-stuffed chair with ottoman. Opposite the seating area is an entertainment center with large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access out to the screen enclosed balcony furnished with a tall table with four high-boy chairs. The view from here is of the resort pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The bedroom has a king-size bed, night stands with lamps and two closets. Sliding glass doors provide private access to the balcony. The bathroom has a granite vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and nicely tiled combination tub/shower with glass doors. We rented this condo for 2 weeks in March 2015. The condo was immaculately clean, extremely well equipped and on a well-maintained property with a great view. Beach is amazing - lots of shells to collect; we saw dolphins, egrets, ibis and herons every day. Swam in the ocean and pool daily. Pool chaises and chairs always available. I booked this online, the process was seamless and I received the rental contract, directions, key access information and offers of help for anything we needed very shortly thereafter. I spoke with a few of the staff members at Distinctive Beach Rentals, all were professional, and the two very minor issues we had were looked after very quickly. The condo is as pictured and has been recently updated with high-end appliances, as well as new kitchen and bathroom. We appreciated the high quality of the mattress, linens and cookware provided. We had access to the exterior storage cupboard (near the car parking spot) which had beach chairs for our use. Quiet area and condo building, suitable for ages 55+. Note: no iron in the unit, so bring your own.
