This second floor corner condo has generous square footage. In addition to its convenient location, there is also the feel of privacy as you gaze out across the natural mangroves. The resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina and movie theatre. The beach is accessed by a 5-minute walk to the Wyndham Resort just across Estero Boulevard where, by the way, there is a Pincher's Crab Shack restaurant. A CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza are a short walk away via Estero Boulevard, with many shops and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport.
The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of Santini Plaza to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away.
Amenities at Captain's Bay include two heated pools and cabana with restrooms. There is one covered parking space beneath the building, with additional outdoor guest parking. Entry is via secure lobby and elevator to the second floor, then through a foyer into the open plan kitchen, living and dining areas. Flooring is a combination of tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, wood in the living and dining areas and carpet in the bedrooms. The kitchen is a chef's delight with spacious countertops and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals should that be on your list. There is a refrigerator/freezer, glass-top range and self-cleaning oven, built-in above-range microwave oven and dishwasher. There is also a peninsular bar with two bars chairs on the living area side. The living room has an L-shaped sofa, end tables and lamps and coffee table with an area rug. Opposite this is a credenza with large flat screen TV. There are expansive sliding glass doors out to the screened in and furnished balcony where you will find a glass-top table seating four. The dining area adjacent to the kitchen has a table seating six with bay windows.
The spacious primary bedroom has sliding glass doors out to the screened-in balcony. Furnishings include a queen-size bed, night stands with lamps, double dresser and armoire. The en suite bathroom has a large vanity with dual lavatories and a walk-in closet. Through a pocket sliding door is the walk-in nicely tiled shower with glass door, commode, and linen closet. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, dresser with lamp and access through a pocket door into a bathroom with combination tub/shower, commode, and vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath. Another door leads back into the entry foyer so the bathroom is accessible from the kitchen and dining areas.
The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few.
