With its wood-planked walls, floor and ceiling, the great room of Rocky Top Lodge is as inviting as you’d expect a Smoky Mountain home to be. In winter the stone-surround fireplace adds to the warm, welcoming ambience. In spring and summer, the ceiling fan brings a breezy ease. (Don’t worry, the house also has central air-conditioning and heating.)
