Welcome to Sunset 701, a resort-style two-bedroom, two-bath condo located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre right across the boulevard and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to seven miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of the resort to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants and boutiques. Also at this end of the island is the famous Key West Express, a high-speed ferry making the trip to Key West in just under 4 hours. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. Amenities at Sunset include a heated pool and deck area with lounge chairs, gas barbecue grill area, shuffleboard, ample parking and Tiki huts on the gulf side of the building overlooking the expansive beach sands. Condo amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, all linens and towels provided and complimentary WiFi and cable TV. Entry at ground level is through a secure, air conditioned lobby where an elevator takes you to the seventh floor. Luggage carts and bellman's trolleys are available in the rear portion of the lobby to simplify your arrival. Enter into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is tile flooring in the entry, kitchen and bathrooms, otherwise carpeting in the living areas and bedrooms. The kitchen has plenty of hard surface counterspace with tile backsplash and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals if so desired. Just bring the food! Appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, range with oven, built-in above-range microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a pass-through to the dining side with two bar stools. The adjacent dining area has a table seating four. This flows into the living area that has a leather sleeper-sofa with end tables and lamps, two side chairs and flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access to the screened-in balcony furnished with a patio table seating four. The awesome 180-degree view from a seventh floor vantage point is the beach below and expansive Gulf of Mexico. The primary bedroom with en suite bath has a queen-size bed, night stands and lamps, desk with chair, ample closet space and dresser with mirror and flat screen TV. The bathroom has a vanity with dual lavatories with storage space beneath, commode and walk-in shower with sliding glass doors. The guest bedroom has two single beds, night stand and lamp, ample closet space and chest of drawers with flat screen TV. The adjacent guest bathroom has a vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and combination tub/shower with sliding glass doors.
