This place was very peaceful. My family and I enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and sitting on the pier. We grilled food and really enjoyed the privacy of the deck/pier. The house was nice, the upper deck was awesome and neat to see all the fish in the green light in the water. My only tiny complaint is about the bedrooms. It’s more like a 3 bedroom, not four. 2 bedrooms are downstairs, one double in one room, and 2 sets of bunk beds in the other, and a loft up stairs with bunk beds and a double. There were no tvs in the bedrooms. Just the loft. The mosquitos were terrible, definitely bring repellent, as the surrounding stores were out. Overall, it was great. I’d stay again, just knowing the facts upfront always helps! No response from the host about fishing license, some chanced it and nothing happened. Some we were all good!

The property does NOT have 2 king beds as stated in the listing. It barely has one queen. There are however 4 sets of bunkbeds in 2 separate rooms. I dont know why any home would have 4 sets of bunk beds. The master bedroom has a queen/full size bed. The room next door has 2 sets of bunks and the loft has 2 sets of bunks a full size bed. That is all. The listing is completely wrong about its sleeping accommodations It claims to accommodate 10 guests, but only gives you 2 pans and 1 qt pot to cook with. The bathrooms are very small and very out dated. There are no dressers in any of the rooms and only 5 hangers in the master bedroom closet. We had ants in the kitchen the entire week we stayed, despite contacting Ryson to let them know. The hot and cold waterlines in the kitchen are switched. And I cant imagine who still uses a toaster oven? Get an air fryer instead or an actual toaster or both. The spiral staircase is a death trap for anyone over 5' tall. You will bang your knees and shins. The location of the house is great. The decks are nice. There are 4 kayaks to use at your pleasure. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. There are plenty of conveniences near by like shopping and restaurants. Plenty of public beach accesses along the main road. There is a boat dock for those with a boat in the neighborhood park. No one told us from Ryson, we actually asked a police man patroling the neighborhood.

The house was very cute, old, but cute. The bathrooms definitely could use some updating. The kitchen is nice, but it could use a few more pots and pans. We do cook on vacation to save a little money and with 2 pans and 1 qt size pot it can be a little aggravating. There are NO king size beds in this house like the description states. The only beds were 4 sets of bunks and 2 (possibly) queen size beds. That is all. One of the full/ queen size beds is in the loft with 2 sets of bunk beds. 2 bedrooms downstairs with 2 sets of bunks in one room and the master has a bathroom and is furnished with a full/queen size bed and 2 nightstands. There are NO dressers and maybe 5 hangers in the closet so be prepared to either live out of your suitcase or purchase more hangers. We always stay places for a week and I personally hate living out of my suitcase for the entire week. The decks were very nice. The ground level has plenty of space for parking. Very dog friendly, just wished it was fenced.

Beautiful house in a great spot on the canal! We had a blast fishing, swimming, and kayaking at the house and were so close to the beach and other attractions! Only downside was the washer was broken so we could not wash our clothes but we figured it out! Thanks again! Had a wonderful time.
