The living is easy at Riverfront Relaxation. The 2-bedroom condo unit is just a mile from downtown Gatlinburg, so you don’t have to battle traffic and fight for parking when you want to check out the myriad attractions; you can simply walk or hop on the trolley. What’s more, the condo itself offers all sorts of amenities that ensure your stay will be an easygoing, relaxing one.
As soon as you step into Riverfront Relaxation you’ll be charmed—by both the elegant furnishings and the lovely, leafy view through the glass doors that connect the living area to the balcony. Surprisingly spacious, the covered balcony overlooks the Roaring Fork Creek. The burbling of the creek is a soothing soundtrack as you sit out on the balcony, enjoying coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. It’s a beautiful spot to start or end your day.
Riverfront Relaxation is just as serene inside. The living area’s sofa and armchair are so generously cushioned, that once you sit down, you may never want to get back up! While you sit, you can watch a movie on the flat-panel TV, which receives 100 digital channels; that should keep you occupied for a while! In winter the fireplace will add an extra layer of warmth and comfort to space, and in summer the ceiling fan will delight you with its gentle breeze.
Adjacent to the living area, the dining table seats 4; another 3 people can saddle up to the gleaming breakfast bar. If you’re entertaining friends, the kids will probably be more than happy to eat “by themselves” at the bar while the adults linger at the table. And speaking of entertaining, the condo has a convenient wet bar as well.
Given that Riverfront Relaxation is so close to so many restaurants—choose from steak, seafood, Mexican, Italian, Cajun, fondue…—you might not have planned to cook much during your stay. One look at the well-equipped kitchen could change your mind, however. It is loaded with appliances, from a full-size refrigerator/freezer to a coffeemaker to a dishwasher, has plenty of counter space and elbow room, and thanks to the condo’s open floor plan, lets you look out at the scenery, watch TV, or chat with the others while you cook.
Each of the 2 bedrooms is a master suite, with a king-size bed, a private full bathroom, and a TV. For that reason, Riverfront Relaxation is as well suited for 2 couples traveling together as it is for a family of 4. There’s plenty of storage too—no living out of a suitcase here.
Riverfront Relaxation is located in the Gatehouse Condominiums, and when you stay here in the summer you’ll have free access to the outdoor swimming pool and patio area. And year-round you’ll have free parking. In fact, because of the condo’s proximity to downtown, you can leave your car parked during most, if not all, of your stay. If you don’t want to walk the mile to downtown, you can take the trolley. Once there, you have a wealth of entertainment options: the Guinness World Records Museum, an aquarium, mini golf, thrill rides, a tram that takes you up to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park…
Or you can hop in your car and drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in just over 5 minutes. The most popular of the country’s national parks, it’s a must-visit, with hiking trails, fishing, wildlife, waterfalls, and historic cabins. Riverfront Relaxation is also less than a half-hour from the hot spots of Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood and the Titanic Museum.
It’s easy to have a fabulous vacation when you stay at Riverfront Relaxation. See for yourself; make your reservation today!
